My dad made the best cheesecakes, and he always started with this graham cracker crust. This crust can also be pressed into a pie pan to make a great pie crust.

Author: Pinot & Pie (Thanks to Dad)
Recipe type: Pie Crust
Serves: 1 crust
Ingredients
- 1⅔ cups graham cracker crumbs (preferably the ones in a box that are already crumbs instead of whole crackers)
- 1½ tsp. cinnamon (optional, I omit for pie crust)
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 6 Tbsp. melted butter
Instructions
- If you have crackers instead of crumbs, place about 14 full sheets into a food processor and blend until crumbs. If you are starting with crumbs, skip this step.
- Measure 1⅔ cups of crumbs into a mixing bowl.
- Add sugar and stir to combine.
- Add melted butter and stir to combine.
- Press into springform pan or pie pan.
- For a pie, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and bake the unfilled crust for 10 minutes.
