Easy, not too sweet graham cracker crust for cheesecake or pies.
Author: Pinot & Pie (Thanks to Dad)
Recipe type: Pie Crust
Serves: 1 crust
Ingredients
1⅔ cups graham cracker crumbs (preferably the ones in a box that are already crumbs instead of whole crackers)
1½ tsp. cinnamon (optional, I omit for pie crust)
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
6 Tbsp. melted butter
Instructions
If you have crackers instead of crumbs, place about 14 full sheets into a food processor and blend until crumbs. If you are starting with crumbs, skip this step.
Measure 1⅔ cups of crumbs into a mixing bowl.
Add sugar and stir to combine.
Add melted butter and stir to combine.
Press into springform pan or pie pan.
For a pie, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and bake the unfilled crust for 10 minutes.
