Fast Ground Beef Taco Filling

- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- ¾ cup salsa or picante sauce
- 1 tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Pepper
- Crumble the ground beef into a skillet.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet
- Sprinkle salt and pepper over the mixture.
- Brown the beef and onion mixture over medium to medium high heat.
- When the ground beef starts to brown, stir it to brown all sides and to break up the ground beef into small pieces.
- Add the salsa or picante sauce.
- Stir the salsa into the beef mixture and let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes until the flavors combine.
